Below are a set of Prosecutorial Performance Indicators that provide additional context about cases processed by the State's Attorney's Office. These indicators seek to indicate whether racial and ethnic disparities exist within the State's Attorney's Office - whether they stem from victim or defendant identity. These indicators also help the office avoid prosecutorial errors and violations, promote law enforcement accountability, ensure conviction integrity, and decrease unnecessary pretrial detention, excessive charges, and unwarranted incarceration without compromising public safety.
